What Is Swedish Massage?

Swedish massage is an ethical, relaxing, non-medical, general massage technique that helps to increase circulation, especially blood return to the heart. 

Through a series of gliding and kneading strokes, as well as tapping, friction, gentle rocking, and limb movement muscle tension is relieved. This relaxation of tissues allows for a better exchange of oxygen and nutrients and facilitates the removal of waste products at the cellular level. All body systems are affected, thus promoting health and well being.
